New Gen 7 LPS are now available in the US and a few other places such as France, England, Spain, and of course, Canada, where the lucky Canadians got them first.
Before they were introduced to stores in the US, they had been showing up at GameStops all across the country in many states. Today, they are being introduced to Target! Go ahead and run to your local Target if you want to get some of these new Gen 7 LPS!
The thing is though, I don't think that the pet pairs are being sold. In my area, (this could be different for you!) I've only seen the tubes, blindboxes, and the playset with the corgi sold. Which is a bit dissapointing, It would be great if we had the pet pairs. Maybe they will be sold later? Guess we will see!
Gen 7 LPS are also expected to hit Walmart on Feburary 12.
So far, I find the launch of these new LPS confusing and messy. They did not do the best job with releasing these effienctly, with confusing everyone back in December by them appearing in Canada.
The new LPS have been released in Canada. Very great for the Canadians, but sad to the rest of the world who wanted the new LPS.
The sudden release of the new LPS was actually surprisng, as they had just randomly showed up at Toys R Us in Canada around last week. People believe that the US is next for these pets to release, as they have been found in the database of Target aparantally. They are expected to launch near January, as they are now up for pre-order on Amazon!
If you live in the US, you can find them on Amazon!
Another thing, their new Roblox game for has dropped too. The game centers around buying new LPS and redeeming codes to get more LPS, those codes being found in the physical box your LPS come in. You walk around and let your pets do activites, and you build up coins and your pets can level up. You are able to go to other places, and you use your coins to order train tickets to go to another place.
So far, the game isn't the greatest. I find there to be a few bugs here and there, and some others have said it feels unfinished. It has crashed atleast twice on me today. When it launched, it was said that the servers were full and the game was buggy. I expect the game to get better as time progresses perhaps. It won't be the greatest game own to exist, as it is mainly targetted towards younger children. It's also some sort of strategy to sell the new LPS, with the whole "redeeming codes" thing. The game reminds me quite a bit of the old LPS game made by Gameloft that was released for mobile devices.
